Rustic Trestle Table Bench

We built this trestle bench to go with our Rustic Trestle Table.  With the recent popularity of rustic tables and farmhouse furniture, this collection shares our love of wood and craftsmanship with your home from ours. This trestle design was modified from the classic double board leg to a triple board with a floating center tenon that gives the wood flexibility to move while stabilizing the lateral movement of the table.  The beauty of this design is the legs in the center of the table that give people lots of room to sit around it without interfering with their comfort and the bench easily fits under the table for easy storage.

The bench is a little over 16 inches wide and varies in length from 5 feet to 8 depending on the length you choose from.  Our table was stained using the dark Jacobean color but we also offer many different colors of your choice.  We then seal the table with polyurethane to a satin finish which allows for easy cleanup with a damp cloth.

All our products are built using Knotty Alder which we sand and polish to an almost translucent sheen.  As with any wood, your new table can chip if roughly handled and some minor warping may occur when changing humidity.  For example; Bringing the table into your home after leaving it outdoors in the weather.  We use screws and wood glue to secure our products.
